Class Description
Holiday Dressmaking Workshop Ages 6 to 17 Saturday, October 10 | 9:30 AM–7:00 PM Little Sewers Club — Nashville 61 W Main Street, Nashville, IN 47448 It's time for one of our favorite sewing traditions of the year — our Holiday Dressmaking Workshop! Spend the day creating a beautiful special-occasion look just in time for the holiday season. Dressmakers will create a dreamy holiday dress featuring a statement square neckline with ruffle detailing, a full skirt, wide finished hem, back zipper and optional statement bow. A holiday vest or dress shirt option is also available! And we're making a whole day of it! Our extended workshop includes plenty of sewing, dining out together for lunch and a special trip to the candy shop. Sewists may bring cash for lunch and candy, or parents may select the Lunch + Candy Shop Add-On during registration. Please bring a refillable water bottle. WHAT TO BRING Holiday Dress: • 3 yards medium-weight woven fashion fabric • 1 yard lightweight lining fabric • 1 yard lightweight fusible interfacing • 1 coordinating 10"–14" invisible zipper • 2 spools matching all-purpose thread Suggested fabrics include cotton sateen, cotton, poplin, lightweight brocade and taffeta. Have fun with holiday colors, prints and special-occasion fabrics! Holiday Vest or Dress Shirt: • 3 yards cotton, poplin or twill • 2 yards lightweight interfacing • 2 spools matching thread • 8 coordinating 3/8" buttons Vest Only: • 2 yards lining fabric WORKSHOP COMPLETION POLICY Completion during the workshop is not guaranteed, as every sewist works at a different pace. Little Sewers Club members may finish their garment during regularly scheduled sewing classes at no additional charge. Non-members needing additional time may purchase a Little Sewers Club membership or a drop-in sewing class to finish their garment. Cancellation Policy
Little Sewers Club – Class Booking Policy To help classes run smoothly and ensure we have the proper equipment and supplies available for every session, we ask that all families follow the booking guidelines below. Pre-Booking Required All classes must be pre-booked online through our scheduling system before attending. Members who arrive without a reservation risk being turned away if the class is already full. Pre-booking allows us to prepare the studio and ensure the best experience for every member. Managing Your Bookings Members may cancel or reschedule their own bookings directly through their online account. Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 2 hours before the scheduled class time. After the 2-hour window has passed, the booking can no longer be modified and the class credit will be forfeited. Members who repeatedly miss classes without cancelling in advance may be charged a $25 late fee per missed class, as we want to ensure that space remains available for others who are hoping to attend. Waitlists If a class is fully booked, members may join the waitlist through the booking system. If a spot opens, you will be notified and can claim the seat. Credits, Camps, Workshops & Private Lessons All booking credits for classes, camps, workshops, and private lessons are non-refundable and non-transferable. Why We Use Pre-Booking Our classes are intentionally kept small so each member receives guidance and access to equipment.
