Class Description
Little Sewers Club | Advanced Level | Ages 6–17 Create your own stylish quilted puffer vest in this exciting Advanced Sewing Workshop! This wearable project is perfect for sewists who are ready to build on their garment construction skills while learning professional outerwear techniques. Students will sew a fully lined and insulated quilted vest featuring a stand collar, front patch pockets, and a front zipper closure. Along the way, they’ll gain confidence working with specialty fabrics and learn techniques used in professional outerwear construction. This workshop is recommended for students who are comfortable using a sewing machine and are ready for a challenge. Little Sewers will install their first zipper, work with insulated materials, and practice sewing multiple fabric layers while creating a garment they’ll be proud to wear throughout the cooler months. Workshop Details Optional Cutting Day Friday, August 7 | 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Workshop Day Saturday, August 8 | 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM Location Little Sewers Club 421 E. Main Street Brownsburg, IN 46112 Materials Needed * 1 yard main fabric (raincoat fabric such as Dewspo is recommended) * 1 yard lining fabric (fleece or Velboa faux fur is recommended) * 1 yard insulation (synthetic insulation such as Alpolux or Isosoft 100–150g is recommended) * One detachable zipper (zipper length recommendations will be provided prior to class) * Two spools of matching thread What to Bring * Sack lunch * Refillable water bottle Skill Level Advanced Students should be comfortable with basic garment construction and sewing machine operation. This workshop introduces zipper installation, insulated garment construction, and techniques for sewing thicker, more technical fabrics. Workshop Completion Policy Every student works at their own pace, so some projects may not be completed by the end of the workshop. Little Sewers Club members are welcome to continue working on their puffer vest during their regularly scheduled sewing classes until their project is complete. Non-members who need additional time may either purchase a Little Sewers Club membership or register for drop-in sewing classes to complete their vest with instructor guidance.

Cancellation Policy
Little Sewers Club – Class Booking Policy To help classes run smoothly and ensure we have the proper equipment and supplies available for every session, we ask that all families follow the booking guidelines below. Pre-Booking Required All classes must be pre-booked online through our scheduling system before attending. Members who arrive without a reservation risk being turned away if the class is already full. Pre-booking allows us to prepare the studio and ensure the best experience for every member. Managing Your Bookings Members may cancel or reschedule their own bookings directly through their online account. Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 2 hours before the scheduled class time. After the 2-hour window has passed, the booking can no longer be modified and the class credit will be forfeited. Members who repeatedly miss classes without cancelling in advance may be charged a $25 late fee per missed class, as we want to ensure that space remains available for others who are hoping to attend. Waitlists If a class is fully booked, members may join the waitlist through the booking system. If a spot opens, you will be notified and can claim the seat. Credits, Camps, Workshops & Private Lessons All booking credits for classes, camps, workshops, and private lessons are non-refundable and non-transferable. Why We Use Pre-Booking Our classes are intentionally kept small so each member receives guidance and access to equipment.
